First Swine Flu Death In The United States

April 29th, 2009 · No Comments ·

It is now becoming a pandemic, is it really? The first death of swine flu in the United States has been reported just recently. This is really scary for all of us.

I watch a documentary of a pandemic 5 years ago and the United States is not  prepared for this. However, the government is just calming the people for it really affects the economy of the US.

Though the United States has the medication for this swine flu, the country doesn’t have the vaccine now. It will take 2 more months to produce as the pathologists study the strain of the influenza virus.

In the documentary that I watched, the medical teams like the doctors and nurses will be the first ones to be vaccinated, then the parents to the youngest.

Do the countries in the world have enough time to kill the outbreak? Or will it kill millions of people like the last 1918-1919 Spanish flu that killed over 50 million people around the world? Time will tell.
